Hello, my name is Mallory May. I will be teaching 2nd-grade ELA and Social Studies. I have 10.5 Hello, my name is Mallory May, and I will be teaching 2nd-grade English Language Arts (ELA) and Social Studies. I have 10.5 years of teaching experience, and this is my first year in 2nd grade. My family and I recently moved back to Yazoo County, and I am excited to be part of the Linwood Elementary family.

I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals, no matter how big or small. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy watching my oldest daughters play softball, basketball, and participate in cross country and track. I also love watching my youngest daughter play soccer and cheer.

In my classroom, I like to use the phrase "speak life." I believe that speaking positively into a situation can make a significant difference, and that is my goal—to inspire each child I teach.years of teaching experience, and this is my first year teaching 2nd grade.
